The Story of

ABSORBING THE OUTDOORS THROUGH PRINTMAKING

 

I am a Printmaker based in the North East of Scotland. I create block prints and block printed handmade lampshades. My carving style creates pattern in my work, simplifying the usual detail from a landscape. I use traditional printmaking methods I learned at Gray’s School of Art and combine with contemporary pieces for the home.

I work from my home studio in Elgin with an assortment of tools I have collected over the years including my wooden A3 Hand Printing Press. I enjoy walking and exploring the British coastlines and Scottish hills, fueling my printmaking inspirations. 

 

I am a full time Mum alongside my art practice, learning as I go!
