Inspired by the tea plantations my Gran lived and worked on near Assam, North East India.

Kangchenjunga was a favourite view of hers, especially during sunrise, the mountain when covered in snow glowed pink. I have been studying the mountain through print, for a long time. I feel connected to her through this view. This print has been designed and carved by RJS Print, pattern and controlled carving has been maintained throughout, making this a unique view of this mountain. In the foreground, a study of a tea picker carrying tea leaves for the plantation.

Kangchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world standing at 8,586 m.
